Your body already knows the way

Each phase of your cycle brings different strengths and needs. Here's how we work with them, not against them.

Follicular Phase

Inner Spring · Days 6–12

What's happening: Estrogen rises, supporting brain function, increasing insulin sensitivity, and rebuilding the uterine lining.

Body state: Energy, motivation, and adaptability increase. The body is more resilient and open to new stimulus.

What the body needs most: Building. Nutrient-dense foods, protein, and opportunities for growth and training.

Ovulatory Phase

Inner Summer · Days 13–16

What's happening: Estrogen peaks and testosterone rises, triggering ovulation and enhancing communication, confidence, and performance.

Body state: High energy, increased social capacity, and peak physical output.

What the body needs most: Stabilization. Consistent fueling to support energy and prevent a post-ovulation crash.

Luteal Phase

Inner Autumn · Days 17–28

What's happening: Progesterone rises, increasing metabolic rate, body temperature, and sensitivity to stress.

Body state: More inward, with lower stress tolerance and higher nutritional demands.

What the body needs most: Nourishment. Increased calories, carbohydrates, and minerals to support the nervous system and hormone balance.

Menstrual Phase

Inner Late Winter · Days 1–5

What's happening: Estrogen and progesterone are at their lowest levels, and the body is shedding the uterine lining. As progesterone clears, stress sensitivity decreases and energy begins to rise.

Body state: More inward at first, with a gradual return of clarity, emotional steadiness, and energy.

What the body needs most: Replenishment. Restoring nutrients while allowing energy to gently come back online.

Everything you need to know

No, this is educational coaching, not physical therapy or medical care. While I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, our work together is coaching-focused. I don't diagnose, treat, or provide clinical care in this context. If you need physical therapy services, I'm happy to refer you to a qualified provider.

It depends on your situation. For active injuries or persistent pain, I recommend seeing a physical therapist or doctor first. Once cleared for exercise, we can absolutely work together to build strength safely. I design programs that respect your body's current needs.

Not at all! We'll meet you where you are. Whether you're a tracking pro or just getting started, the program adapts. Even rough estimates help us optimize your training. Over time, you'll naturally become more attuned to your body's signals.

Irregular cycles are more common than you think, and we can absolutely work with them. We'll focus on symptom-based tracking and body signals rather than strict calendar dates. The principles still apply, just adapted to YOUR body.

No restrictive diets, no calorie obsession, no food fear. We focus on nourishing your body with foods that support your hormones and goals. Think: adding in nutritious foods, not taking things away. Sustainable, flexible, and actually enjoyable.

Most training sessions are 45–60 minutes, 3–4 times per week. Quality over quantity! We focus on efficient, effective workouts that fit your life, not the other way around.

Access to basic gym equipment (dumbbells, barbell, cables) is ideal, but I can modify programs for home gyms too. We'll work with what you have access to.

Dr. Meli Wolf

Meet Dr. Meli Wolf

I'm Dr. Meli Wolf, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, pelvic floor specialist, and women's health coach devoted to helping women feel at home in their bodies.

My work sits at the intersection of clinical expertise and lived experience. I began my career in the world of competitive bodybuilding and physique coaching, where I developed a deep understanding of discipline, body composition, and performance. But over time, I saw how often women were taught to override their bodies rather than listen to them.

That realization led me into women's health and pelvic floor physical therapy, where I now support women through hormone imbalances, pelvic floor dysfunction, nutrition and metabolic health, and the deeper patterns that drive disconnection from the body.

My approach is both strategic and intuitive. I combine evidence-based practice with a holistic lens. We will look at your nervous system, lifestyle, relationships, and internal patterns, not just your symptoms.

This work isn't about fixing you.

It's about helping you understand your body, rebuild trust with it, and create a way of living that actually supports you.

If you're ready to feel at home in your body, apply now.
