About the Artist

Hi, I'm Meli

Art is one of my favorite forms of expression, alongside dance and singing. I'm a creator at heart.

I've been painting since I was a little girl when I went to Waldorf school. That's where my love for art really started. But somewhere along the way, I got in my head that I needed to be a doctor or a lawyer or something academically "respected," and I stopped painting for about ten years.

About six years ago, I picked up a brush again, and it's been the best thing I've ever done for myself. I work from my home studio in Boulder, Colorado, and occasionally have art showings out here. I also do commission pieces from time to time.

My art is largely inspired by femininity and all things juicy, chaotic, and loud.
